Daniel Hillard (Robin Williams) is a voice over-actor is struggling to keep his family in tact. His wife often complains that Daniel does not have discipline and could not discipline the children as well. This becomes the reason for his wife filing a divorce and wins custody of the kids and Daniel is only allowed to see them once a week. What's worse is that Daniel also losses his job as a voice over actor. Saddened with all that has happened he and his brother, the make up artist, conjure up a plan so that he can see his kids whenever he wants.
