Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

The movie takes place in San Diego where famous anchorman, Ron Burgundy (Will Farrell) and his crew of chauvinistic anchormen ruled the TV news airwaves. Not until he encounters Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), an aspiring and driven anchorwoman who steals the lime light from Ron and his crew. Soon Ron and Veronica have an all out sexist battle to see who is the best news anchor. Funny as hell!

Nicholas Angel, a London cop that does his job so well (that it makes the entire police force look bad) gets reassigned to the quaint town of Sandford. There he is teamed up with Danny Butterman, a rookie-like cop who is eager to experience and some "action" in the boring town. But the town is anything but boring as a lot of odd deaths start to happen. All the town folk claim and think that it is all deaths were an accident but officer Nick Angel knows better and because all signs lead to foul play. It is up to him and Danny to solve the mysterious deaths that have been happening in Sandford.

This movie is about four boys who chip in for a 100,000 Euro underground card game and end up owing a gang boss 500,000 Euros. The gang boss, Harry, is not one to mess with as he and his colleague "Barry the Baptist" are mean as their reputations. This leaves the boys in a desperation move to steal a heist from their drug dealer neighbors. Another thing that gets in the way of the plans from getting the money are two antique guns, who no one knows the value of aside from Harry.

What's worse is that Daniel also losses his job as a voice over actor. Saddened with all that has happened he and his brother, the make up artist, conjure up a plan so that he can see his kids whenever he wants. Thus Daniel suits up to become Mrs. Doubtfire, an old Scottish nanny and sees this as another chance to make things right again.

Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day

Miss Guenevere Pettigrew (Frances McDormand), a middle-aged governess is unfairly dismissed from her job in an agency. With only so much as severance she decides to seize the opportunity of intercepting an employment assignment which involves actress/ singer Delysia Lafosse (Amy Adams). Miss Pettigrew finds herself caught up in high society struggles and with Ms. Lafosse's love triangle. On the other hand Miss Pettigrew also finds herself in an awkward position as she is also attracted to Joe, but Joe's boss, senses something off with Miss Pettigrew. Will Miss Pettigrew get caught with what she did? but more importantly, will she find happiness with Joe?
