An orphaned high-school student, David Rice (Hayden Christensen), discovered that he can telepathically travel to any place he wanted and discovered this ability when he was in grave danger of drowning. Realizing that he had such power, he goes to rob banks and just have fun and travel. Then 8 years later David encounters a group of people called Palladins and are hunting people with his special ability. David then discovers that he is not the only one that has such powers and battles his way out of being caught by Roland (Samuel L. Jackson) and his team of Palladins.
