Apocalypto

The movie Apocalypto, directed by Mel Gibson, is about the early civilizations of the Mayan and is set in the Jungle. Jaguar Paw, one of the tribe chief's children is captured, to serve as a slave/sacrifice, together with other tribes men when the Mayan's attacked their village. During the attack, Jaguar Paw had the chance to hide his pregnant wife and child and was spared. With this in his mind, it gave him the strength to escape his captors and seek for a new beginning.
